Being arrested can be troubling, embarrassing, scary, and even a painful experience for you, your family and/or friends. Our trained, professional agents understand your fear and apprehension. You are treated respectfully and with great patience. We know that every arrest and situation can be different. Our 50+ years of experience in the bail business gives us great insight into the legal process.
If you are arrested in the North San Diego County, California, you will be taken to and booked into the Vista Jail/Detention Facility. The Vista Jail/Detention Facility is part of the San Diego County Superior Court Complex in the City of Vista, California.
Once arrested and booked, the defendant should call Vista Bail Bonds Inc., (dba Vista Bail Bonds and A & A Bail Bonds), and we will explain the bail process, amount of time it will take for release after the conclusion of his or her warrant check. Our office is located directly across the street from the Vista Jail on Melrose Drive in Vista, California. Vista Bail Bonds has been the most convenient and closest bail bond office to the jail complex for over 50 years!
The intake booking process includes, but is not limited to, questions, fingerprints, mug shots, and warrant checks. This can take 2 - 6 hours, during which time the defendant is placed in cell known as the phone tank or holding cell. This is where free local or collect calls can be made to arrange bail.
First-time, non-violent arrestees (those accused of drug offenses, public order offenses, property offenses, and domestic violence offenses) who have established roots in the local community are eligible to arrange self-bail for their own release with Vista Bail Bonds. If they can not arrange for their own release, we can be discreet in helping locate a friend or family member to assist.
Cosigners may be eligible to arrange bail with Vista Bail Bonds using our "Cosigner by phone/fax" Program. This saves time and trouble by securing the defendants release without having to leave the house in the middle of the night or other inconvenient times.
Bail can be posted by Vista Bail Bonds (locally in Vista, California), for anyone with bail in any of the San Diego County Jails... 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Once bail is posted it usually takes the jail staff 1 - 4 hours to complete the release of the defendant from custody, although as of 11/09 it can take
up to 14 hours because the release process at the Vista Jail has been suspended between 11pm and 7am. The bail system is designed to guarantee the appearance of a criminal defendant in court at the time the judge directs with no cost to the taxpayers.
